TOOLS: SPARK AR, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR AND BLENDER
Secret Society is a young adult book label created by Penguin Random House Portugal. For its first 10 releases, I designed and developed a series of augmented reality butterflies for Instagram, each one connected to a different book cover. The butterflies were individually 3D modeled and animated to appear as though they were resting directly on the covers. These Instagram AR experiences enhanced the original artwork and brought the publisher’s vision of a butterfly collection to life as a digital extension of the book series.
